Stephen Swift
Stephen is a part time pastor and the senior service provider for At Your Service. He is a husband, father and grandfather and helps give care to his aging parents. He has lived in Victoria since 1983.
Completing his B.A. and M. Div. in Vancouver, he was ordained in the Christian church in 1980. Since that time, Stephen has ministered in a wide variety of churches in several denominations. Some years ago he was moved to start helping people who had no one to call upon when in need of a funeral service. Believing that every life deserves recognition, Stephen began to offer himself to lead services and events that affirm the deceased person’s life. Stephen has named his business “At Your Service” because his approach is to serve people, not preach at them or try to recruit them.
He has now helped plan and lead in over 1200 events of life affirmation in a wide variety of styles and settings.

Sarah Bjorgan
Sarah is a registered massage therapist and has a degree in health science. She joined At Your Service in 2009 and gives families the option of a service provided by someone who not clergy and has a fresh perspective . She is trained and mentored by Stephen Swift.
Sarah was born in Vancouver but has spent all but three years of her life in Victoria. She has taken all of her education here and has established her Island View Massage Therapy practice on the Saanich Peninsula. She is married and a mother of one. Her hobbies include sports and music.
